Food & Drink

As a foodie myself, it is a delight to gain food photography work. Travelling to beautifully decorated and well-curated restaurants to document their menus is something I execute with precision. I do this by manipulating the lighting and background both artistically and thematically with the restaurant’s brand and style.

Every food photoshoot I perform requires heavy planning in order to ensure the correct equipment, props and backdrops are brought to location. Does the client want studio lit, sharper shots, or soft, naturally-lit images? Should I use infinity backdrops or natural interiors? Questions like these are important to ask in order to make sure the correct mood is created and the correct equipment and props are to hand.
